Ariana grew up on a cattle ranch in the mountains of California, where horses were part of everyday life. She spent her early years riding ranch ponies across pasture and back-country trails, participating in local gymkhana events, and getting her first experiences starting young horses. From the beginning, she developed a feel for working with horses that required patience, consistency, and a steady approach.

After high school, Ariana joined the U.S. Army, where she served for seven years, including two deployments to Afghanistan. Following her military service, she relocated to New England and returned to horses with a renewed focus and purpose. She worked at professional farms throughout the region, including managing Cedarwood Farm in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and continues to expand her knowledge and experience at Gelinas Farm in Pembroke, New Hampshire.

In 2021, Ariana and her family purchased a property in Salisbury, New Hampshire. The land had been largely unused for years, but it offered the foundation for something more. What began with space for a personal horse and a friend quickly grew into a small herd—McCoy, Hatfield, and Wellington—who now form the foundation of Black Creek Farm's stable herd.

In 2026, after years of planning, saving, and steady development, Black Creek Farm was established as a purpose-driven equine facility. Today, the farm reflects Ariana’s commitment to thoughtful horsemanship, quality care, and creating a low-pressure environment where both horses and riders can develop with consistency and intention.
